Small alleys and a silent rumble. The area of Neve Tzedek is different to the surrounding districts. Houses are small two storey buildings that are separated from the streets by gates and walls. The colour palette fluctuates between ochre and emerald green. A typical lane counts about 15 properties on one side of the street. The layout of the district is designed in several parallel orientating streets. There are no people. Not a whisper. 
Neve Tzedek (Hebrew: נווה צדק) is a neighbourhood located in southwestern Tel Aviv, Israel. It was the first Jewish neighbourhood to be built (1887) outside the old city of the ancient port of Jaffa.
